No Ratchets

Uses a unique locking slide mechanism that eliminates the need for any ratchet teeth. It is infinitely adjustable, as you open it, it locks wherever you stop until you release it.

 

The Advantage of a Solid Frame Speculum without the Weight

The left and right frame stop against tooth plates so the frames are held away from the horses head. This feature also eliminates the need for a spreader bar.

Longer frame moves pivot point closer to TMJ. Upper tooth plates angled down to address incisor table angle.
