About Us

Capps Manufacturing, Inc. Established - 1993
|
What started out as a one man shop has developed into a thriving family business. It all started with an idea for an improved version of a hand float, from that one item has grown a full line of Quality Equine Dental Instruments that we ship all over the world.
I would like for you to meet the crew.

Michael Capps
Michael started part time in1997 and joined us full time in the fall of 1998. His job title is, what ever needs to be done at that particular moment and he is very good at it. At any point in time his job title might be production control manager, purchasing agent, machinist, welder, salesman, supervisor, training coordinator, janitor, shipping clerk, maintenance supervisor, or construction foreman. In other words we wouldn’t know what to do without him. |
 |
| Kim Chlupacek
Kim is our office manager and the voice on the telephone when you call Capps Manufacturing. In addition to answering the phone and taking orders her other duties include, managing our website shopping cart, filling, and shipping all of those orders. Her other duties include maintaining our accounts receivable. She pays all of the bills, keeps an eye on our inventory, takes care of purchasing and keeps up with all of the other office duties. |
 |
| Chesa Henkel
Chesa is our finish room specialist. She is in charge of the finishing process that most of the products we manufacture go through. She is an artist in the true sense of the word. She has the ability and patience to produce a mirror finish on our stainless steel instruments that gives us the consistency and quality our customers have come to expect. |

Zachary Capps
Zach came to work for Capps Manufacturing, Inc. in August of 2005. He has evolved into our full time welder and is very good at it. He has a few college credits under his belt, and is still thinking about going back to school. |
 |
| Randy Baumfalk
Randy started with Capps Manufacturing, Inc. in 2008. He takes care of the grind shop for us. New blades are produced on a CNC (computer controlled) surface grinder. Blades that are sent back to us for sharpening are ground with diamond wheels on tool and cutter grinders to reproduce the original cutting surface. |

Richard Capps
Rich has worked with us off and on part time for ten years or so. Whenever we get in a bind and need help, he has always been there to bail us out. There isn’t anything in the shop that he can’t do. Currently when he is not helping Denny in the grind shop he has been welding for us. |
